Plan your first visit

We always look forward to visitors joining us. As a way of introduction and to help make you feel at home, you can read what our various meetings are like before arriving.

Sunday Services and Ministries

  • Sunday services: We meet for prayer at 9:15 and for worship at 10:00. The music is a blend of traditional hymns and congregational modern worship songs, and the whole service usually lasts between 1 and 1.5 hours. We try follow the pattern of the early church in the book of Acts, where the church "devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer". The expositional preaching of the Word is central to the service, and we celebrate the Lord's Supper at the beginning of every month.

    Please feel free to sit anywhere you like in the hall, and introduce yourself as a visitor to the door stewards. Coffee and tea is usually served afterwards.

  • Kids & youth: Younger children stay in for the opening part of the service and then head to age-appropriate groups. High-school aged kids stay for the whole Sunday service.
  • Midweek groups: Small-group Bible studies and prayer gatherings in homes nearby. There are two groups focused on adults, and one focused on young adults. These are able to be much more fellowship-focused, and will usually involve going through a book of the Bible verse by verse, with discussion and questions.
  • Community care: Pastoral support and practical help are available; please speak to one of the leaders if you have a need. Our hall and property are also available for appropriate events such as birthday parties, funerals, and other gatherings.
  • Training: Occasional courses and talks aimed to equip believers and reach out to our community.

Facilities

  • Parking: On-site parking is available, including visitor and disabled bays close to the hall entrance.
  • Mothers' Room: A Mothers' Room is available for mothers with babies and toddlers, with an audio feed from the service and privacy glass so you can still follow along.
  • Refreshments: Tea and coffee are usually served after the morning service to facilitate fellowship and getting to know each other.
  • Accessibility: The main hall is on ground level with ramp access from the parking area, and a wheelchair is available for use. If you have specific accessibility needs, please chat to a door steward on arrival.
  • Garden & play area: We are blessed to have a large and beautiful property, with open grassy space, trees, and play equipment for children after the service.
